Aultmore 21 Year Old Review

The Aultmore 21yr video review is on this YouTube link. Aultmore 21yr is released for travel retail and the bottle I picked up was from Heathrow Airport.

Tasting Notes:
Colour: Straw / Golden Barley
Nose:  Light Vanilla, Poached pears, grapefruit citrus notes followed by a slight heathery note.
Palate: On the palate instant citrus notes start leading into herbal notes of heather and soft fruits like pears but more of the peel, just on the end sweeter honey coated apples.
Finish: Long honeyed finish, sweetness of conference pears and soft citrus notes.

Information:
AGE: 21 year
ABV: 46%
CASKS: First Fill Bourbon Casks
DISTILLERY: Aultmore Distillery
COMPANY: Bacardi
REGION/ORIGIN: Speyside
PRICE: £125.00
EXCLUSIVE: Travel Retail Exclusive

Comments: Really nice soft and light whisky, does offer a nice creaminess. Water is optional with this whisky to take down the abv if you find it to strong of the palate. If you do add water what I found is that it reduces citrus notes slightly.
