The Glenmorangie Tayne video review is on this YouTube link. The Glenmorangie Tayne is released for travel retail and is part of the legends range. The bottle I picked up was from Heathrow Airport.
Nose: Sweetness which reminded me of milk chocolate, sultanas, a nutmeg spice, brown sugar and a slight floral note on the end.
Palate: Instant warmth in spice from nutmeg, brown sugar, mouth filling sweetness, feels a slight citrus note developing on the sides of the palate. A chewy toffee note develops on the end with a slight hint of tropical fruits.
Finish: It has a medium finish which fades fairly quickly, initially maintaining spice which works its way into a slight dryness ending on a floral note.
CASKS: Ex Bourbon American White Oak + Amontillado Sherry Cask
DISTILLERY: Glenmorangie Distillery
EXCLUSIVE: Travel Retail Exclusive
Comments: Light, Sweet spice, no water needed with this otherwise the whisky would be way to light.
